There are three services associated with connected line identification:
- COLP - Identification of the connected line (subscriber).
The caller cannot be sure that he is connected to the subscriber whose number he dialed, because the called subscriber can be activated VDO "call forwarding". Connected Line Number Identification VAS (COLP) provides the subscriber with the opportunity to receive information about the number of the connected line when making a call from him. This VDO provides the called subscriber with the ability to keep his number secret from the calling subscriber, whether or not he has a Connected Line Identification (COLP) VDO. If the called subscriber has the VAS in question, the information about the connected number will not be presented to the calling subscriber. The presence of this RAS by the subscriber guarantees that the information about his number will not always be presented to the calling party, except for the case when the calling subscriber has the RAS "suppression of the restriction of identification of the connected line number".
- Suppression of prohibition identification of the connected line number.
This RTP enables the caller to receive information about the number of the connected terminal during the outgoing call, regardless of whether the called subscriber has the "Connected Terminal Number Identification Restriction" (COLR) RTP.
