Jelly is one of the simplest, fastest and most inexpensive ways to please children with something tasty. You can, of course, buy a soluble preparation in a bag, pour boiling water over it, and put it in the refrigerator. However, there is zero benefit from such a dessert; rather, it is pure harm caused by the chemicals it contains. It's like milk jelly! The recipe is not at all complicated, although you will have to tinker a little more. But it’s tasty, healthy, and beautiful.

Milk jelly

First, try preparing the simplest milk jelly, the recipe for which includes a quarter liter of milk and 150 g of sugar. Gelatin is taken for the indicated amount of liquid 25 g. If desired, vanillin can be added. The milk is slowly heated until it boils, after which sugar is gradually added (if you also take vanillin, add it at the same time). Gelatin is pre-soaked. When it swells, it must be stirred well and poured into hot (but not boiling) milk. Then the saucepan is placed on low heat again. While stirring continuously, wait until it boils again and pour into small, beautiful containers. When cool, put it in the refrigerator to harden.

Multi-colored sweetness

If you want to make a particularly beautiful milk jelly, you will have to complicate the recipe by adding powdered semi-finished products to the ingredients. You need to take three bags of different colors: yellow (lemon or peach), red (raspberry, cherry, strawberry) and green (kiwi makes it brighter, but you can also buy grape). Most often this dessert is called “Broken Glass”. Its preparation consists of two stages. At the first stage, according to the instructions, ready-made jellies are diluted in different bowls. Please note: the colored ingredients must be very dense, so take a little less water for them than is written on the bags. The time for the second stage will come when store-bought semi-finished products are ready. Next, milk jelly is brewed, the recipe of which is slightly modified: you need to take either less milk or more gelatin, in order, again, to increase the density of the finished product. For example, for one and a half glasses of milk you need to put a tablespoon with gelatin on top. Everything else is as in the previous recipe. Multi-colored jellies are cut - not necessarily very carefully, but they should still represent fragments. The pieces are laid out in transparent bowls and filled with the white component. After hardening, a very beautiful milk jelly is obtained, the recipe with a photo of which is presented in this article.

Fruit temptation

Desserts with pieces of a wide variety of fruits have been popular at all times. But there is a recipe for milk jelly with fruits, in which they are present in different forms. The milk base itself is made in the usual way. The banana is peeled, cut into circles, which are laid out on the bottom of the bowls. The jelly is poured halfway on top, and the containers are put into the refrigerator until they harden. At this time, you can do the orange half. For this purpose, the peel and white films are removed from the fruit. It is also advisable to remove the grains. The prepared slices are passed through a blender. Sugar is added to the puree and the saucepan is placed on the fire. You should stir so that the sugar dissolves faster and the puree does not burn. When it is well heated, remove from the stove and add gelatin in the proportion: 400 ml of puree - a full tablespoon of gelatin. When it has dissolved and cooled slightly, carefully, using a spoon or knife, pour it on top of the frozen milk mixture. And back into the refrigerator.

Cherry jelly

The recipe for milk jelly with whole fruit placed in it is also interesting. It turns out most beautifully and successfully with cherries. First, you need to cover them with sugar (for 200 g of berries - 2 and a half tablespoons of sand) and put them in the cold. The resulting juice is poured into a separate glass. Milk jelly is made as usual. The cherries are placed in bowls, filled with the mixture and left to harden. At the very end, you can go two ways: either simply pour cherry juice over the jelly, or add gelatin to it and make a second, red layer.

Chocolate dessert

You can diversify milk jelly in other ways. A recipe with cocoa will give you a real chocolate taste. For such a dessert, it is better to take baked milk. Pour half a glass of milk into a bowl, put four spoons of cocoa powder, sugar (as much as you like). Heat and pour in the pre-prepared gelatin, stirring in a thin stream. The resulting chocolate milk is distributed into bowls, wide glasses, vases or silicone molds, which are placed in the refrigerator. From two more glasses of milk, regular, white jelly is made and poured on top. When it hardens, you will get a beautiful striped dessert. If you used molds, then you need to quickly lower them into heated water. Then the jelly can be easily removed without losing its outline.

Tip: Cocoa milk can be replaced with a drink like Nesquik if you don’t mind its taste and quality.

Real chocolate

You don’t have to resort to cocoa to get the intended result. True, it won’t be streaky, but the taste will be amazing. Gelatin is prepared as standard. While it swells, grate a chocolate bar. This milk chocolate jelly recipe uses a natural ingredient. Chocolate and one hundred grams of sugar are dissolved in three glasses of milk (you will have to heat it up), and only then gelatin is poured in. When it boils, the future jelly is poured into containers and hidden in the refrigerator to harden. When it's time to serve, it can be decorated with whipped cream or fresh berries, and in winter, topped with syrup.

Sour cream version

As already mentioned, you can prepare milk jelly in very different ways. A recipe with sour cream, for example, allows you to get a very tender and at the same time dense, elastic dessert. For it, gelatin is diluted in a small amount of milk, and half a liter of low-fat sour cream is whipped with a glass of sugar in a blender or mixer. At the end of the process, the finished gelatin is poured into the container, and the whole mass is mixed until smooth. All that remains is to pour it into vases and wait until it sets. This jelly is usually decorated with melted chocolate or shavings.

Coffee striped jelly

Not only chocolate can be used in making this dessert. Milk coffee jelly is unusual and tasty. The recipe, in addition to the usual ingredients, requires half a cup of high-quality natural coffee. It is boiled first, after which it is strained from the grounds. Sugar is added to filtered coffee, gelatin is added and cooled. Milk jelly is prepared separately - you already know how to do this. It also cools down a bit. And then coffee jelly and then white jelly are poured into the molds one by one. Each layer must harden completely before adding the next. It turns out to be a striped dessert. Milk jelly, a recipe with a photo of which is presented in the article, turns out to be especially tasty if you sprinkle it with coconut flakes and lemon zest on top. Alternatively, decorate with whipped cream.

Milk, cottage cheese, sour cream

We have already described the recipe for milk jelly made from sour cream. Let’s share another one that will give you the opportunity to pamper your children with a delicious and very healthy dessert. For it, gelatin is diluted in a glass of milk, and 250 g of sour cream are ground with a glass of sugar and 400 grams of cottage cheese until completely smooth. You can use a blender or mixer. Then gelatin and milk are poured in, and everything is mixed again. If you want striped jelly, divide the mass in half and add cocoa to one part. But you can also use the preparation to prepare a white dessert (or brown, if you add the same cocoa). When it hardens, invite the family to enjoy it.

Are there any children in the world who don't like jelly? If so, then most likely there are not very many of them, and therefore a delicacy prepared on the basis of milk and gelatin will be an excellent treat at a fun children's party.

However, adults will probably also want to enjoy the cool and tender milk jelly, so we can confidently say that the dessert is universal, and you need to prepare it as much as possible.

Required ingredients:

  • fresh milk - 1.5 cups,
  • instant gelatin – 15 grams,
  • powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons.

Note: Powdered sugar can be replaced with regular granulated sugar, and milk with cream.

Milk jelly - recipe with photo:

Pour the gelatin into a small bowl, add about 20 ml of cold water and leave for a few minutes. If you are using non-instant gelatin, it will take longer to swell - about 10 minutes.

Heat the milk and then combine it with powdered sugar and swollen gelatin. Stir the mixture with a spoon until the gelatin is completely dissolved. At this time, you can still slightly warm the milk in a water bath, the main thing is to never bring it to a boil.

Strain the milk with gelatin dissolved in it through a fine strainer and pour into portioned molds.

Once the milk jelly has cooled to room temperature, place it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours or overnight. Before removing the jelly from the molds, run a sharp knife or toothpick along its edges, and then simply shake it onto a plate.

You can serve milk jelly just like that, or you can lightly sprinkle it with berry jam or sprinkle with cocoa powder. To ensure that you never get tired of milk jelly, you can diversify it with all sorts of fillings - pieces of multi-colored fruit jelly, sponge cake or candied fruit.

Jelly recipe prepared by: Svetlana Soroka

I've been hooked on milk jelly lately. That's why I'm sharing the recipe. Milk jelly is very tasty and not at all troublesome to prepare. A set of products is always at hand.

To prepare milk jelly we will need:

  • 750 grams of milk,
  • 5 tablespoons sugar or to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons vanilla sugar or to taste
  • 15 grams of gelatin,
  • 100 grams of water.

Recipe for making milk jelly.

I'll start with milk. Many recipes say that full-fat milk is required. What you really need is tasty milk. I prepared milk jelly from both selected milk and milk with a fat content of 2.5%. It turns out delicious either way.

Pour the milk into a saucepan and put it on the fire to boil. When the milk has boiled, add sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir, bring to a boil again and remove from heat. Leave the milk to cool down.

For milk jelly, you can use other flavors besides vanilla. You can add cinnamon, cocoa or chocolate, coffee, chopped strawberries or raspberries. I love vanilla, so I flavor the jelly with it.

We dilute the gelatin in water and leave it to swell.

When the milk has cooled, heat the gelatin a little. I do this in the microwave. I set it for 10 seconds, stir, if the gelatin has not become liquid and homogeneous during this time, then set it for another 10. The main thing here is not to overheat. Add liquid gelatin to warm milk and stir.

Pour the milk jelly into molds and put it in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours.

Decorate the finished jelly with chocolate chips, berries, mint leaves, and you can sprinkle with cinnamon. In general, what is enough for your imagination? Serve milk jelly to the table.

I love cinnamon milk jelly

If the jelly needs to be removed from the mold, then lower it, the mold, into hot water for a few seconds.

Bon appetit.

The dessert prepared according to the recipes below will not be too sweet, but quite rich, especially if you make it with various additives. Milk jelly with its delicate taste can be very diverse, you just need to season it in one way or another. From our article you will learn how to prepare it quickly, beautifully and interestingly to delight not only yourself, but also your guests.

There are several nuances in preparing a dairy dessert:

  • We use only natural milk or cream with a high fat content, not less than 3.5%, so that the dessert does not turn out watery; skim milk is not suitable.
  • Baked milk jelly can be very tasty - don’t neglect this product.
  • It is good to use vanillin or vanilla sugar as a flavoring - everything else: cocoa, cinnamon, coffee will already change the taste.
  • We use only sterilized or pasteurized milk, as boiled milk can give a strange taste.
  • If you want the jelly to harden faster and have a denser texture, dissolve the gelatin directly in milk, without adding water.

So, now that we know the basic principles, we can start cooking!

Ingredients

  • Gelatin – 10 – 15 g
  • Milk 4% - 3 cups
  • Sugar - to taste (from 3 to 5 tbsp)
  • Vanillin - on the tip of a knife

Step-by-step preparation of jelly with milk

  1. Pour the milk into a saucepan, add gelatin to it and let it sit for 30 - 40 minutes. (If the instructions say that this is not necessary, immediately put it on fire).
  2. After the time has passed, heat the milk with gelatin until completely dissolved and strain through a fine sieve.
  3. Add the required amount of sugar, vanillin, mix everything and pour into molds. Place in the refrigerator and leave to harden for 3 – 4 hours.
  4. When serving the jelly, garnish with fresh whipped cream and grated chocolate or fresh fruit. It tastes very similar to vanilla ice cream.

Of course, this recipe can be varied as you wish. For example, if you prepare it from baked milk, you will get a real creme brulee.

Homemade creme brulee (milk jelly)

  • Pour half of the jelly (prepared according to the above recipe) into the mold, let it “set”, and then lay a thin layer of boiled condensed milk.
  • You can add chopped walnuts or a little whipped cream to make it less cloying, but just a little so as not to liquefy it too much.
  • Let it harden and add the rest of the jelly-milk mixture.

It's good to make a dessert from the same ingredients, but in a different way. Add 2 times less sugar to the milk so as not to make the dessert too cloying, and pour it into the mold in a 1 cm layer. Cool and coat with condensed milk.

So we alternate until the jelly mixture is finished. The result will be a striped, very tasty and beautiful dish.

Express milk jelly recipe

If you don’t have time for alternations, but you really want to make milk jelly, let’s use berries!

  • Let's dilute milk or even cream (it will be tastier with them) with gelatin in the specified proportion and, while the powder swells, we'll work on the berries.
  • If you have fresh strawberries or raspberries, this is ideal. In the first case, wash the berries and place them on a napkin to remove excess moisture; in the second, place them directly on the bottom of the mold.
  • If the strawberries are very large, it will be good to place each berry in its own silicone mold. If the berry is only frozen, we will choose the strongest one and will not defrost it completely so that it does not spread.
  • Fill everything with jelly milk and let it harden in the cold for 2 hours.

A milk dessert with large berries, served cut into portions - it will have a very beautiful cut. From the small ones, place them whole on a saucer, pouring berry sauce over them.

Berry sauce

For it, grind 150 g of berries with 2 tablespoons of sugar, heat everything over the fire for at least 20 minutes, and then strain to get rid of the cake.

If there are no berries on hand, we will prepare a dessert with fruit. There is one subtlety: to prevent it from curdling, we choose either bananas (for 3 glasses of milk we need 1 piece) or other, not too sour fruits.

  • If you really want to make a version with orange, and, to be fair, the taste turns out to be really unusual and very piquant thanks to the combination of the creamy hue of milk and the spicy sourness of citrus, let’s resort to a little trick!
  • Let's cut the fresh orange into the slices we need in the mold, put it on oiled paper or a silicone stand and... put it in the freezer.
  • After 20 - 30 minutes, when the slices are completely frozen, we collect them from the paper and place them on the bottom of our molds.
  • It would be good to add cinnamon or a drop of orange essential oil to sweet milk for more flavor, because our ice slices have no smell.
  • Then pour in the jelly and put it in the refrigerator!

The temperature in it will even out, the orange pieces will thaw, becoming soft, and the dessert itself will harden. In a few hours we will have an unusual Christmas dessert! Serve sprinkled with cinnamon, walnuts or chocolate chips. Decorate with zest curls.

Milk-orange jelly can be supplemented with a layer of aromatic chocolate that goes very well with it.

  • Milk 4% - 1 glass + 2 tbsp
  • Gelatin – 10 g
  • Milk or bitter chocolate – 50 g

How to make jelly with milk at home

  1. Add gelatin to milk and leave to swell.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a water bath, adding 2 tablespoons of milk.
  3. Warm up the bloomed gelatin, strain and mix with melted chocolate. Do not beat under any circumstances, but only mix gently, otherwise the gelatin will not work.
  4. Either pour the completely homogeneous mixture into separate molds or pour it on top of the orange milk jelly from the previous recipe.

Serve garnished with chopped chocolate, cinnamon and fresh orange.

Dessert based on milk and yolks

If you are not a fan of heavy cream, you can add yolks to the milk jelly to achieve a richer taste.

  • To do this, wash 2 eggs with dishwashing detergent - the shells should be completely clean, separate the yolks from the whites and grind the first ones with 2 - 3 tablespoons of sugar into a fluffy foam.
  • Dissolve 10 g of gelatin soaked in a glass of milk over low heat, strain and combine with the yolks.
  • Mix well and pour into molds.
  • The jelly hardens as usual - from 2 to 4 hours.

Serve with soft waffles, biscuits and fresh berries.

Coffee lovers will surely appreciate this coffee dessert recipe.

For it, we only need to brew a large cup of weak natural coffee or, in extreme cases, use instant coffee, but the taste will be less rich.

Instead of plain milk, add 10 g of gelatin to the already prepared, sweet, cooled coffee and let stand until it swells. Then, we do everything as usual - warm it up, strain it, pour it into molds.

Alternating coffee and chocolate layers will be very tasty. To the latter you can add fruits, for example, the same oranges or cherries from jam.

The tastes of milk jelly and its appearance can be completely different, but always wonderful. Now that you know how to prepare its basic types, you have a huge scope for experimentation! Go ahead, cook and enjoy your meal!
