Separately, information is presented on the types of window systems, indicating the features, advantages and glazing technology.

The blocks present data on the advantages of combining living rooms with a loggia and the most popular options for using living space.

We will talk about complex repairs, exterior and interior decoration and popular finishing materials. Videos will help you become more familiar with the features of roof installation and our technology for performing the work.

Installation of warm glazing on the loggias of the Vulykha tower

For warm glazing of loggias in the Vulykha Tower series house, a metal-plastic window profile and multi-chamber double-glazed windows are used. This type of glazing is used for loggias that are used for residential purposes. The most affordable window profile is KBE Etalon 58, a higher quality and more expensive profile is KBE Energy 70. Metal-plastic windows from the REHAU company are no less popular. The most popular option is the Rehau Blitz (BLITZ) 60 profile.

The main advantages of this type of glazing: high-quality thermal insulation, the ability to use the loggia as a living room, a variety of window profiles and double-glazed windows. Features of metal-plastic glazing: higher cost compared to sliding windows, greater weight.

The photo gallery contains examples of glazing loggias in a house from the Vulykha Metallo Tower series plastic windows.

Sliding glazing on the loggia of the Vulykha tower - main features

Sliding glazing is used for loggias in the Vulykha tower series house, which are not planned to be used as a living room. The most popular aluminum windows are Krauss and Provedal. The advantages of sliding window systems: affordable cost, reliable protection from wind and rain, saving space.

Features of windows made of aluminum profiles: at sub-zero temperatures, the sashes can freeze (aluminum is still a metal). Be prepared for the fact that in winter it will not always be possible to open the windows. Sliding windows made from plastic profiles are no less often used. This window system has no problems with freezing of the sashes.

The photo shows examples of glazing loggias with sliding window systems made of aluminum and plastic profiles.

This video shows an example of glazing a loggia with Krauss sliding aluminum windows. Since the loggia is not used as a living room, cold glazing turned out to be quite sufficient. At the request of the customer, a turnkey repair of the loggia was also carried out.

Review of popular materials for insulating loggias Vulykha Tower

The house of the Vulykha tower series has a huge advantage - a spacious loggia, the length of which is 6 meters. This room can be used for residential purposes. But for this you need to perform a complex of work on heat and waterproofing. In addition, you need to install metal-plastic windows with multi-chamber double-glazed windows.

The most common insulation for Vulykha Tower loggias is 50 mm penoplex (there are other modifications with greater thickness). Penoplex is quite rigid, has an affordable price and high-quality thermal insulation.

Another popular insulation material is polyurethane foam. It is more rigid (compared to penoplex). The cheapest insulation is the well-known polystyrene foam. It is inexpensive, lightweight and has good thermal insulation properties. The main disadvantage of this material is fragility. With a small load, the foam simply crumbles.

The photo gallery contains examples of loggia insulation, and the video allows you to get acquainted with the features of insulation technology. The video shows the features of our technology.

Review of materials for interior decoration of Vulykha Tower loggias

The interior decoration of the Vulykha Tower loggia is an important element of a comprehensive renovation. When choosing finishing materials, you should consider the type of glazing and temperature regime indoors. When installing sliding windows, the finish must be practical and well tolerate high humidity and temperature changes. To decorate a loggia with metal-plastic windows, you can use any type of finishing (it all depends on personal preferences).

Leader among finishing materials- plastic panels. They are the most accessible and practical. Manufacturers supply panels in various colors.

Wooden lining is no less popular. Its price depends on the class: the most expensive is Euro lining, the most affordable is class C lining. Advantages of wooden lining: attractive appearance, environmentally friendly finishing material.

The next material on our list is MDF panels. They are affordable and attractive appearance. There is a wide variety of colors and designs available in the market. The surface of MDF panels often imitates more expensive types of finishes (marble, stone, wood paneling, ceramic tiles, etc.).

For interior decoration you can use natural or artificial stone. Natural stone is more expensive, artificial stone is more affordable. In the photo you can see examples of interior decoration using various materials.

Combination of Vulykha Tower loggias with a room and kitchen

To increase the living space of an apartment in a building in the Vulykha Tower series, you can use a large loggia. To create a comfortable microclimate in the room, you need to insulate it and carry out waterproofing work. In addition, warm windows made of metal-plastic profiles are installed.

The main advantages of combining a loggia with a room or kitchen: an increase in living space, the possibility of arranging a separate room (this could be a gym, a playroom, a children's bedroom, a dining room or a study).

When combining a loggia with a room or kitchen, work is carried out without dismantling the supporting structures. Therefore, permission from the BTI to dismantle the balcony block is not required. The photo gallery contains examples of combining rooms with the Vulykha Tower loggia.

Features of exterior finishing

Exterior finishing protects the loggia from precipitation and improves the quality of waterproofing. Siding is most often used for exterior decoration. The advantages of this material: service life up to 30 years, resistance to mechanical loads, resistance to direct sunlight, variety of colors.

Choice color range depends on the personal preferences of the customer. The best option- choosing a color that matches the facade of a residential building. In the photo you can see the finishing of the loggias with siding of various colors.

Built-in furniture on the balcony.

The loggia is a great place to store things. Most often, built-in furniture is used (it saves free space). A striking example of built-in furniture is small cabinets and compact cabinets. When making a cabinet, you can choose the optimal dimensions, number and height of shelves. It all depends on the things you want to store.

The color of the furniture and the type of material can be selected individually. The price of a cabinet and cabinet depends on the materials used: you can make an inexpensive cabinet at an affordable price or premium furniture (for example, a sliding wardrobe with mirrored doors and expensive finishes).

To reduce the price, you can remove the back or side walls. Such changes reduce costs finished product, and they do not affect the quality of furniture and its service life. Our photo gallery contains examples of built-in furniture.

Glazing type - sliding system: Krauss or Provedal

Approximate dimensions of the balcony - 5000x1500 price 34 086 rub

Approximate dimensions of the balcony - 6000x1550 price 38 641 rub

Glazing type - hinged system: KBE

Approximate dimensions of the balcony - 5000x1500 price 49 778 rub

Approximate dimensions of the balcony - 6000x1550 price 54 182 rub

Sliding windows protect from precipitation and gusts of wind (the temperature inside the room will differ from outside by 10-15 degrees).
The most popular sliding windows are Provedal and Krauss (aluminum profile) and Slidors (plastic profile). The prices indicated are approximate. The exact price of glazing can be found out after measuring the loggia and choosing a window system.

Please note: aluminum profile sliding windows may freeze at low temperatures. Sliders windows have no such drawback. For maximum thermal insulation of the loggia, metal-plastic windows and multi-chamber double-glazed windows should be used.

The side sashes can be replaced with sandwich panels or solid ones with glass. (The first option is used when installing balcony furniture). Such changes reduce the cost of the design.

Was implemented in brick A fourteen-story building built in 1971. Home series - Vulykha Tower. The apartment, the redevelopment of which we will consider, is located on the first floor.

The total size of the room is 34.1 square meters. m. It consists of one room with an area of 18 sq. m. m, as well as a loggia, restroom, bathroom, corridor, built-in wardrobe, kitchen.

The redevelopment involved such actions as: dismantling and creating, glazing cold rooms, creating new rooms, combining some and separating others, arranging wet and summer areas.

When describing the actions performed, we will move from front door to the loggia. During the redevelopment process they dismantled built-in wardrobe(2a) and built a new one (3a) using a small part of the bathroom (3).

The partition separating the bathroom and toilet (4) was removed, thereby combining the bathrooms and creating combined bathroom. The entrance door block of the room (1) and the wall closest to the exit were dismantled, after which a new, exciting, decent part of the corridor was erected.

The resulting room was divided in two by a wall with a window. The end result was an office overlooking the living room.

Since the previous wall between the gasified kitchen (4) and the living room (1) was removed, a door with a tight rebate and a sliding partition were installed in its place. The old entrance to the kitchen was dismantled, visually combining the kitchen with the corridor.

All wet areas are equipped waterproofing.

Loggia(1a) was glazed and divided into two (1a and 4a). Window sill blocks were dismantled, removed the old door blocks. Instead, they installed new, uniform ones with double-glazed windows.

Vulykha Towers are a series of mixed-type multi-storey buildings. External walls are load-bearing, made of brick. And inside there is a load-bearing prefabricated reinforced concrete frame. This series was designed by the MNIITEP Institute, named after the Soviet architect, specialist in the field of housing construction Efim Petrovich Vulykh. Brezhnev series. The Vulykh Towers were built over almost 20 years - from 1967 to 1986.

At its core, the Vulykh Towers have several constructive solutions, which may be considered unusual. So, unlike standard panel houses, only the internal frame of the building is prefabricated (produced at a factory, not at a construction site), and the outer walls are made of brick.

It was the use of not a wall, but a frame type of capital structures that determined the advantage of houses in this series, which lies in the fact that the internal walls are designed as non-load-bearing, and this opens up wide opportunities for redevelopment.

Since the outer walls of the Vulykh Towers were built from ceramic bricks, then compared to panel series, these houses have excellent thermal performance. But to build such a house required more time and labor. In addition, the construction of the Vulykh Tower was much more expensive.

IN Soviet era The Vulykh towers belonged to the elite type of housing. Intended for representatives of law enforcement agencies. Apartments in the houses had enough good layouts with spacious kitchens, corridors, loggias and separate bathrooms.

Not the most convenient qualities of the houses in this series include poor coatings and a cargo-passenger elevator, which in its structure is more reminiscent of a passenger elevator. The series cannot be demolished.

The Vulykha Tower series of houses is named after the famous Soviet architect Efim Petrovich Vulykh (his most famous works are the general's houses on Frunzenskaya Embankment and the Circus on Vernadsky Avenue). Apartments in most of the buildings in this series were provided to those on the waiting list for enterprises and organizations, and to employees of law enforcement agencies (and not through municipal queues)

A typical series of 12-story frame-brick houses, the Vulykha Tower, belongs to the “Brezhnevka” type. The layouts and parameters of the apartments, as well as the design characteristics of the houses of the Vulykha Tower standard series are in many ways similar to the houses of the II-67 Tishinskaya, II-67 Moskvoretskaya and II-67 Smirnovskaya series
